Bell Residence

The Bell Residence project in Hunt, Texas involved full site preparation for a custom home pad along a river slope - completed in two phases to coordinate with the concrete contractor constructing a retaining wall between them.
Phase 1 - Site Preparation
- Leveling & Clearing - Graded and cleared the site to establish a clean, level building pad
- Demolition - Removed existing structures and debris from the property
- Underground Propane Tank Removal - Safely excavated and removed an old underground propane tank
- Select Fill - Brought in and compacted select fill to build the pad to design grade
With Phase 1 complete, the concrete contractor moved in to construct the retaining wall along the river slope.
Phase 2 - Wall Backfill & Final Grade
- Filter Fabric Installation - Installed filter fabric along the retaining wall to prevent soil migration
- Gravel Backfill - Placed gravel behind the wall for drainage and structural support
- Remaining Select Fill - Completed the pad with final select fill placement and compaction
