Dimicelli Ranch Project

The Dimicelli Ranch project in Bruni, Texas showcases our comprehensive land improvement capabilities on a large-scale property. This multi-faceted project demonstrated our ability to transform raw land into functional, beautiful ranch property through specialized techniques and engineering expertise.

Site Planning and Preparation

Our work began with thorough site analysis and planning to determine optimal locations for the house site, ponds, and access roads. Careful consideration was given to natural water flow patterns, soil conditions, and the owner's vision for the property. Our brush clearing operations prepared the house site while preserving desirable natural elements.

Water Testing Services

Our professional water testing services were integral to the Dimicelli Ranch project, ensuring optimal water quality for both the wildlife ponds and main feature pond. Using specialized testing equipment, we analyzed water composition, mineral content, and pH levels to create ideal conditions for the property's water features.

Soil Testing Services

Comprehensive soil testing was essential for this project's success. Our engineering team conducted thorough soil composition analysis, permeability tests, and stability assessments to ensure proper foundation preparation, effective pond construction, and optimal road development across the property.

Custom Pond Construction

We constructed three strategic ponds across the property:

  • Two 0.25-acre wildlife ponds to enhance habitat value
  • One 0.50-acre feature pond at the house site

The house pond design incorporated a unique two-section layout with a culvert connection beneath the entrance road. This creates a striking water feature that greets visitors as they approach the main residence.

To ensure water retention in these ponds, we utilized specialized SoilFloc polymer technology. This innovative approach involved tilling the polymer into the soil and lining the interior of the ponds to prevent water seepage—a critical consideration in the South Texas climate.

Ranch Road Development

Our road construction utilized on-site base materials to create durable access ways throughout the property. This approach provided both cost efficiency and environmental benefits by minimizing the need for imported materials. The carefully engineered roads were designed to withstand both weather conditions and regular vehicle traffic.

Water System Integration

We installed over 4,200 feet of poly pipe to connect existing water wells to the newly constructed ponds. This comprehensive water management system ensures reliable water supply for both the wildlife ponds and the feature pond at the house site. Our engineering background allowed us to design an efficient system that maximizes the property's water resources.

Additional Site Improvements

The project also included:

  • Construction of a house foundation pad engineered for stability
  • Installation of a septic system designed for site conditions
  • Fencing installation to define property areas
  • Development of a custom front gate entrance structure
